– The singer has neither confirmed the rumor nor denied it which leads to speculations as the two are said to be spending more and more time together.
Word on the street is that Sauti Sol’s Delvin Mudigi is secretly courting Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece. A fun-loving, totally out going Kavi Pratt. The grapevine has been been peddled from tabloid to tabloid about a burgeoning love affair between Pratt and Sauti Sol’s wing-man, Savara.
The rumor was sparked by a series of photos uploaded by both Savara and Pratt. In one of the photos, a rather grainy grayscale photo, Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece is seen kissing Savara, albeit on the cheek. Nothing to write home about it seems. To give the sensational rumor a twist and a turn, it has been revealed that the girl is very close to Sauti Sol, the band, more so, she is closer to Savara.
When TUKO gossiper called the singer to confirm the legitimacy of the rumor, Savara could not confirm nor deny the rumor and chose to skirt around the question, laughing heartily all the while.
“Haha, you media people make my days, I don’t know, like kwani a person cannot fall in love? I really cannot comment on that,”(more laughter)My assessment of the situation: It is likely that Savara is seeing Pratt, but is keen not to make such an announcement too soon. If there was absolutely nothing going on between the two, in our phone conversation, he would have thrown a tantrum about ‘bloggers’ and ‘meddling’ while terming the rumor as ‘malicious’ and ‘absurd’.
He didn’t. Which is why, I feel that this smoke, heralds the coming of a fire. This will be bad news for a legion of Kenyan girls who have in times past, drooled over the singer’s abs and deep baritone.
If the rumor is to be trusted, Savara’s relationship status will be the next one on the limelight after his bandmate, Bien Aime revealed in 2015, that he is in a romantic relationship with Chiki Onukwe, a Nigerian fitness instructor.
